Why join
Preparing for Postpartum?
In this 2 hour workshop we'll discuss the power of preparing for postpartum rest and rejuvenation in a way that you feel supported, educated, prepared, and calm about the big life change of bringing a new baby into your life and perhaps more importantly, able to welcome your new mother-self into your life with ease.
Mother Care
The first 40 days after birth is known as la cuarentena in Latin American cultures and in Ayurveda (yogic science of medicine), the first 42 days are known to set the stage for women’s health and wellbeing for the next 42 years.
This time is considered sacred and crucial for the wellbeing of both mother and baby in most cultures in the world - it was the norm in Europe for a woman’s family and neighbors to come support the mother after birth before various witch trials found ways to eliminate this tradition.
This workshop doesn’t replace these traditions, but rather is a bit of a light shining towards traditional, physiological, and biological norms and needs.
Baby Care
From counting diapers, to assessing pees and poos, to understanding feeding and wake times, and differentiating what’s normal and what’s not normal. We’re going to cover the basics of baby care.
Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding is a learned skill for both mom and baby! Yes, it is instinctual and primal, but that doesn’t mean we don’t still have aspects to learn and apply in the process.
Each baby is different and often needs something different when it comes to breastfeeding. We’ll cover the basics and how to seek help if you need it.
Scar Tissue Support
Whether you have a tear or a cesarean, understanding how to care for our healing body is a crucial aspect of postpartum. We will talk about tools and protocols to healing scar tissue and how to support your new postpartum mom bod
The Seven Sisters Protocol
The seven sisters protocol is quite straight forward and simple. We’ll discuss how to plan for it and execute it in a way that allows you to receive care and support postpartum rather than trying to organize and facilitate people wanting to visit rather than support.
